Lenovo Cancer Warning

I was just delivered a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop.

This warning label was on the outside of the box:

What the eff!???!!!

What does this even mean? I'm going to call Lenovo customer service (who will convince me to keep the laptop anyway).

  1. What?!? This is creepy! I'm eager to hear what they say about it! By the way, I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award! No obligation to accept, of course, but you deserved to be in my list of picks! Here's the info: http://somekernelsoftruth.com/2014/12/15/liebster-award/ :) 

    1. Thank you as always for your incredible support and this nomination my dear friend!
By the way, I still haven't actually called Lenovo but I must (sadly, more so because my new laptop's screen has been flickering!? how annoying! not more annoying than cancer-causing chemicals though...)

    2. I called Lenovo customer service. I was told that the warning label refers to the battery components.

    3. Thank you for passing along the message. I really hope it's not an actual issue to be concerned with - I decided to keep it.
